The Detroit Food Map Initiative (DFM) has been the only entity consistently conducting assessments of Detroit’s neighborhood grocery landscape. Data collected in 2013 and 2015 has been utilized by the Detroit Food Policy Council, Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, Eastern Market Corporation, Wayne State University Pediatric Prevention Research Center, and University of Michigan School of Information. Qualitative research has also been conducted in 2014 and recently published in Food and Foodways.
