Detroit Neighborhoods Guide

Neighborhood boundaries have been fraught in Detroit and many different entities have come up with their own lines whether that is a community association with a historic track record, nonprofits launching new programs, or even the City’s Department of Neighborhoods naming every neighborhood.

The fact of the matter in Detroit is that there has been very limited community engagement when it comes to defining neighborhoods and more residents need access to the tools to define their own neighborhoods for themselves.
